OYI-FAT16J-B Series Terminal Box

The 16-core OYI-FAT16J-B optical terminal box performs in accordance with the industry standard requirements of YD/T2150-2010. It is mainly used in the FTTX access system terminal link. The box is made of high-strength PC, ABS plastic alloy injection molding, which provides good sealing and aging resistance. In addition, it can be hung on the wall outdoors or indoors for installation and use.

The OYI-FAT16J-B optical terminal box has an inner design with a single-layer structure, divided into the distribution line area, outdoor cable insertion, fiber splicing tray, and FTTH drop optical cable storage. The fiber optical lines are very clear, making it convenient to operate and maintain. There are 4 cable holes under the box that can accommodate 4 outdoor optical cables for direct or different junctions, and it can also accommodate 16 FTTH drop optical cables for end connections. The fiber splicing tray uses a flip form and can be configured with 16 cores capacity specifications to accommodate the box’s expansion needs.

The Installation Instruction of the Box

1.Wall hanging

1.1 According to the distance between the backplane mounting holes, drill 4 mounting holes on the wall and insert the plastic expansion sleeves.

1.2 Secure the box to the wall using M8 * 40 screws.

1.3 Position the upper end of the box into the wall hole and then use M8 * 40 screws to secure the box to the wall.

1.4 Check the installation of the box and close the door once it is confirmed to be qualified. To prevent rainwater from entering the box, tighten the box using a key column.

1.5 Insert the outdoor optical cable and FTTH drop optical cable according to the construction requirements.

 

2.Hanging rod installation

2.1 Remove the box installation backplane and hoop, and insert the hoop into the installation backplane. 2.2 Fix the backboard on the pole through the hoop. To prevent accidents, it is necessary to check whether the hoop locks the pole securely and ensure that the box is firm and reliable, with no looseness.

2.3 The installation of the box and the insertion of the optical cable are the same as before.
