It is similar to a coaxial cable transmission system. The optical network system also requires an optical signal to be coupled to the branch distribution. The fiber optic splitter is one of the most important passive devices in the optical fiber link. It is an optical fiber tandem device with many input terminals and many output terminals. It is especially applicable to a passive optical network (EPON, GPON, BPON, FTTX, FTTH, etc.) to connect the ODF and the terminal equipment and to achieve the branching of the optical signal.

With low requirements for placement position and environment, its compact cassette-type design can easily be placed into an optical fiber distribution box, optical fiber junction box, or any kind of box that can reserve some space. The LGX insert cassette-type PLC splitter family includes 1x2, 1x4, 1x8, 1x16, 1x32, 1x64, 2x2, 2x4, 2x8, 2x16, 2x32, 2x64, which are tailored to different applications and markets. They have a compact size with wide bandwidth. All products meet ROHS, GR-1209-CORE-2001, and GR-1221-CORE-1999 standards.

      The OYI-FOSC-D103M dome fiber optic splice closure is used in aerial, wall-mounting, and underground applications for the straight-through and branching splice of the fiber cable. Dome splicing closures are excellent protection of fiber optic joints from outdoor environments such as UV, water, and weather, with leak-proof sealing and IP68 protection.

      The closure has 6 entrance ports on the end (4 round ports and 2 oval port). The shell of the product is made from ABS/PC+ABS material. The shell and the base are sealed by pressing the silicone rubber with the allocated clamp. The entry ports are sealed by heat-shrinkable tubes. The closures can be opened again after being sealed and reused without changing the sealing material.

      The closure’s main construction includes the box, splicing, and it can be configured with adapters and optical splitters.

      Insert the optical fiber into the PBT loose tube, fill the loose tube with waterproof ointment. The center of the cable core is a non-metallic reinforced core, and the gap is filled with waterproof ointment. The loose tube (and filler) is twisted around the center to strengthen the core, forming a compact and circular cable core. A layer of protective material is extruded outside the cable core, and glass yarn is placed outside the protective tube as a rodent proof material.
