Optical splice closures are used to distribute, splice, and store outdoor optical cables that enter and exit from the ends of the closure. The closure has 2 entrance ports. The shell of the product is made from ABS+PP material. The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of PBT. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire or FRP is located in the center of the core as a metallic strength member. The tubes and the fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core.
