ADSS Suspension Clamp Type B
The suspension clamp brackets can be used for short and medium spans of fiber optic cables, and the suspension clamp bracket is sized to fit specific ADSS diameters. Standard suspension clamp bracket can be employed with the fitted gentle bushings, which can provide a good support/groove fit and prevent the support from damaging the cable. The bolt supports, like guy hooks, pigtail bolts, or suspender hooks, can be supplied with the aluminum captive bolts to simplify installation with no loose parts.

The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of PBT. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire or FRP is located in the center of the core as a metallic strength member. The tubes and the fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) or steel tape is applied around the cable core, which is filled with filling compound to protect it from water ingress.
