      The structure of the GYFXTY optical cable is such that a 250μm optical fiber is enclosed in a loose tube made of high modulus material.       The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of PBT. The tube is filled with a water-resistant filling compound, and a steel wire or FRP is located in the center of the core as a metallic strength member. The PSP is longitudinally applied over the cable core, which is filled with filling compound to protect it from water ingress. Finally, the cable is completed with a PE (LSZH) sheath to provide additional protection.
