Applications
These clamps will be used as cable dead-ends at end poles (using one clamp). Two clamps can be installed as double dead-ends in the following cases:
At jointing poles.
At intermediate angle poles when the cable route deviates by more than 20°.
At intermediate poles when the two spans are different in lengths.
At intermediate poles on hilly landscapes.

Self-supporting Figure 8 Fiber Optic Cable
The 250um fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire is located in the center of the core as a metallic strength member. The tubes (and fibers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After an Aluminum (or steel tape) Polyethylene Laminate (APL) moisture barrier is applied around the cable core, this part of the cable, accompanied by the stranded wires as the supporting part, is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath to form a figure 8 structure. Figure 8 cables, GYTC8A and GYTC8S, are also available upon request. This type of cable is specifically designed for self-supporting aerial installation. -

The normal thickness is 4mm, but we can provide other thicknesses upon request. The CT8 bracket is an excellent choice for overhead telecommunication lines as it allows for multiple drop wire clamps and dead-ending in all directions. When you need to connect many drop accessories on one pole, this bracket can meet your requirements. The special design with multiple holes allows you to install all accessories in one bracket. We can attach this bracket to the pole using two stainless steel bands and buckles or bolts. -
