The OYI-FOSC-03H Horizontal fiber optic splice closure has two connection ways: direct connection and splitting connection. The fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of PBT. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire or FRP is located in the center of the core as a metallic strength member. The tubes and the fillers are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) or steel tape is applied around the cable core, which is filled with filling compound to protect it from water ingress. Then the cable core is covered with a thin PE inner sheath. After the PSP is longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, the cable is completed with a PE (LSZH) outer sheath.(WITH DOUBLE SHEATHS) -
