OYI International, Ltd., a Shenzhen-based supplier of fiber optic cables and network communication solutions, recently organized a team building trip to Gulong Gorge in Qingyuan. The outing gave employees a chance to step away from their usual work routines, enjoy the outdoors and spend time together outside the office.
Located in Qingxin District, Qingyuan, Gulong Gorge is known for its waterfalls, rainforest scenery, glass skywalk and canyon rafting. With its natural landscape and range of outdoor activities, it provided a good setting for the OYI team to relax and connect.
Rafting was one of the most memorable parts of the trip. The course features fast-moving rapids, sharp turns and steep drops, making it both exciting and challenging. Team members worked together throughout the ride, helping each other and enjoying plenty of laughs along the way.
The experience also brought colleagues from different departments closer together. Sales, technical, logistics and administrative staff had more opportunities to talk and get to know each other outside their usual work responsibilities. Without emails, meetings and project deadlines, conversations became more relaxed, and the distance between different departments naturally became smaller.
In addition to rafting, the team explored the glass bridge, viewing platforms and forest trails around the scenic area. Everyone took photos, enjoyed the scenery and had time to recharge. For many team members, the trip was simply a chance to slow down, enjoy nature and create some good memories together.
